Practice Areas
Family law covers an expansive spectrum of issues, from divorce and child custody/support disputes, domestic violence, guardianships and domestic homicide.
when selecting a family law attorney, it is essential that you consider their experience with regards to the specific issues in your case. For instance, if your situation involves complex assets or assets requiring international law considerations as well as custody evaluations or business valuations it would be wise to find an attorney with relevant expertise in these areas.
Additionally, it is vital to verify whether your attorney has extensive trial experience. While most family law cases settle before reaching courtroom proceedings, your attorney’s level of courtroom experience can play an invaluable role in how successfully your case is resolved.
Brandon Haubert
Brandon Haubert learned the fundamentals of lawyering while growing up in Clarksville, Arkansas: hard work, determination and practical problem-solving. These experiences shaped his professional philosophy and approach when co-founding whLaw three days after passing the bar exam.
He believes the law must change to meet client expectations and transform how legal services are provided, with accessibility and personal connections taking precedence over innovative business models that increase efficiency and scalability. Haubert prioritizes accessibility over personal connections while welcoming innovative models for increasing efficiency and scaling capabilities.
Haubert uses internal messaging systems accessible to the entire team–rather than individual attorneys’ inboxes–to make sure clients never get lost in translation, while plain language communication helps ensure no clients become lost among legalese. He believes in breaking down hierarchies that may exist between attorneys and clients in his field; by listening and understanding clients’ real life challenges more fully they can find effective solutions.
